The primary responsibility of the Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure the quality and integrity of software solutions. This involves working closely with software developers and architects to identify and resolve issues, develop test plans, analyze results, and document findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.">
  • Record and document results, comparing them to expected outcomes.">
  • Identify software failures to facilitate defect discovery and correction.">
  • Document and report issues, tracking resolution progress.">
  • Participate in application planning meetings to align with development teams.">
  • Maintain and establish automated testing infrastructure.">
  • Create and enhance test automation scripts.">
  • Implement continuous integration of automated tests using Jenkins.">
  • Understand the application's environment to develop effective automation approaches.">

Required Qualifications

To be successful as a Quality Assurance Specialist, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a software development environment as a programmer or tester.">
  • Familiarity with QA automation tools.">
  • Ability to write automated scripts for testing user interfaces, REST-based APIs, and Web Services.">
  • Experience in issue identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution.">
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.">
  • Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.">
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.">
  • Experience with payment processing software.">
