Product Development Manager Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to join our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the realization of product plans by staying up-to-date with market dynamics, industry trends, and competition.

They will work closely with marketing teams, customer experience, and other departments to ensure the efficient development of new products.

  • Assist in periodic review of existing products to ensure continued validity of investment and marketing strategy, commercial viability, competitive positioning, and ability to meet investor requirements.
  • Identify market trends in the mutual funds industry and draft concept papers for innovative products.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of mutual fund products.
  • Conduct GAP analysis & market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
  • Collaborate with Fund Management to design innovative fund structures.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (compliance, legal, finance) to ensure product alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong alliances with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep the product suite updated with regulatory changes and perform GAP analysis.
  • Screening of new distributors & On-boarding of new distributors.
  • Regulatory updates of existing distributors.

Key Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word-processing programs.
  • Profound knowledge of mutual funds' products and industry knowledge.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a reputable institution or Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years' relevant industry experience is preferred.
