Job Description: Cybersecurity Analyst - SOC

The Samba Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Security Operations Centre (SOC) team.

About the Role:
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including logs and threat intelligence feeds.
  • Develop and implement effective incident response plans to minimize the impact of security incidents.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, and experience with incident response and threat hunting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources, including logs and threat intelligence feeds.
  2. Develop and implement effective incident response plans to minimize the impact of security incidents.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in a SOC environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
