Software Development Opportunity

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Designing and implementing Restful APIs to enable communication between applications and external systems.
  2. Integrating with external Web Services using various technologies and serialization methods like SOAP, REST, and more.
  3. Managing and deploying applications efficiently on cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  4. Developing and maintaining relational databases using PostgreSQL.
  5. Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  6. Writing clean, efficient, and testable code, identifying and fixing bugs to improve application performance.
  7. Supporting continuous improvement by investigating new technologies, frameworks, and solutions, and presenting them for architectural review.

To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with several key technologies and methodologies including:

  • Java (8 or higher versions)
  • Spring Framework and Spring Boot
  • Hibernate and JPA
  • Batch Processing
  • SQL and Relational Database Design
  • Source Version Control and Continuous Integration
  • Experience with OOA/OOD, distributed systems, and real-time processing
  • Knowledge of Business Application Software and transaction workflows

Preferred skills include familiarity with AWS platforms and technologies, experience with PostgreSQL, Agile and Test-Driven Development, and understanding of APIs and application development frameworks like Spring.
