A key role exists for an experienced systems architect to join our team. This is a high-leverage position that will empower the development of a platform that will enable businesses to scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS while ensuring security best practices and cost optimization.
  • Lead container orchestration efforts using Docker and Docker Swarm, including creating optimized Dockerfiles, managing container networking, and implementing service discovery solutions for microservices architecture.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines primarily using GitHub Actions, focusing on automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies for applications.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana, while implementing logging solutions and establishing alerting thresholds.
Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM, with demonstrated ability to architect cloud-native solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Docker and Docker Swarm, including experience with multi-container applications, volume management, and container networking.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage AWS resources and maintain configuration consistency.
  • Experience with Node.js ecosystem and TypeScript applications, including understanding of build processes and optimization for applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with database administration and optimization.
  • Familiarity with WebSocket deployments and real-time application infrastructure.
Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in incident response and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to system improvements and technical debt management.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation.
