Sales Growth Strategist Role

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Sales Growth Strategist to join our team. The successful candidate will drive sales growth, build lasting client relationships, and lead sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
    3. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new market segments and opportunities.
    4. Maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in target industries.
    5. Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions addressing specific business challenges.
    6. Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts effectively, and close deals.
    7. Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to project handover.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    1. Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients at all levels.
    2. Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
    3. Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  3. Market Intelligence:
    1. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.
    2. Capture emerging market opportunities.
  4. Operational Excellence:
    1. Manage sales budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    2. Ensure timely payment receipts and positive cash flow on all projects.
    3. Achieve adherence to all company policies and procedures, including HSE regulations.
  5. Team Leadership and Management:
    1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
    2. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members enhancing their sales skills.
    3. Monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  1. Education:
    1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field) is essential.
    2. Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a reputable institution is highly desirable.
  2. Experience:
    1. 8-10 years of progressive sales experience in selling System Integration solutions within the Oil & Gas, Power, Manufacturing, or related industries.
    2. Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    1. Detailed understanding of industrial automation technologies, including PLC/SCADA systems, DCS, HMI, MES, instrumentation, and control systems.
    2. Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  4. Skills:
    1. Communication and Interpersonal: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    2. Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
    3. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.
    4. Business Acumen: Understanding of financial statements, market trends, and competitive landscape.
    5. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and industry-specific software applications.

    1. Results-oriented with a strong work ethic and proactive approach.

    3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
