Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to deliver effective hygiene promotion and community mobilization activities in support of WASH programs. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of hygiene campaigns, house-to-house hygiene promotion, and other related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hygiene campaigns, including organizing events, training sessions, and awareness-raising activities
  • Conduct household-level assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support the development of concept papers, proposals, and budgets for assigned WASH areas
  • Mobilize communities on behavior change related to hygiene practices
  • Actively participate with community volunteers in identifying locations/sites for WASH infrastructures

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences or relevant technical WASH specialization
  • At least one year of work experience in implementing hygiene promotion systems in IDPs, refugee, and migrant contexts
  • Two years of experience supervising and interacting with international staff, partners, and donors
