Smart City Solutions Engineer

We're seeking a talented and driven engineer to spearhead the development of our smart city solutions.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in researching, designing, and implementing cutting-edge IoT applications that transform urban landscapes and enhance the lives of citizens.

  • Innovate for Smart Cities: Develop IoT applications tailored to smart city initiatives, including solutions for traffic management, environmental monitoring, energy efficiency, public safety, and more.

Sensor & Solution Expertise: Apply your knowledge of smart city sensors and IoT solutions to design and deploy impactful projects that address real-world challenges.

Technology Integration: Seamlessly integrate IoT technologies and smart city solutions into our platform, collaborating closely with the software team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners, including vendors, architects, and city officials, to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Project Management: Take ownership of project implementation from conception to completion, including design, sensor selection, deployment, testing, and integration.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or a related field).
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience designing or implementing IoT solutions, preferably in a smart city context.
  • Strong understanding of smart city sensors, communication protocols, and relevant data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Natural curiosity, bias for action, and passion for leveraging technology to create smarter, more sustainable cities.
