We're seeking a talented and driven IoT Application Engineer to spearhead the development of our smart city solutions. You'll be instrumental in researching, designing, and implementing cutting-edge IoT applications that transform urban landscapes and enhance the lives of citizens.

What You'll Do

Innovate for Smart Cities: Research and develop IoT applications tailored to smart city initiatives, including solutions for traffic management, environmental monitoring, energy efficiency, public safety, and more.

Sensor & Solution Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of smart city sensors and IoT solutions to design and deploy impactful projects that address real-world challenges.

Technology Integration: Seamlessly integrate IoT technologies and smart city solutions into our company's platform, collaborating closely with the software team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners, including vendors, architects, and city officials, to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Project Management: Take ownership of project implementation from conception to completion, including design, sensor selection, deployment, testing, and integration.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project progress and delivering exceptional results.

Who You Are

Technical Foundation: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or a related field), OR equivalent hands-on experience in IoT development.

IoT Experience: Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience designing or implementing IoT solutions, preferably in a smart city context.

Sensor & Solution Savvy: Demonstrate a strong understanding of smart city sensors (e.g., air quality, traffic, energy), communication protocols (e.g., LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and relevant data analytics.

Communication Skills: Excel in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving Mindset: Possess a natural curiosity, a bias for action, and a passion for leveraging technology to create smarter, more sustainable cities.
