The role involves consistently identifying clients' legal needs, offering counsel, clarifying legal options, and adeptly representing them in courtroom settings and negotiations. Our top priorities are making sure clients feel fully supported and receive optimal, cost-effective legal assistance.

You will be required to be independent in your work, but work collaboratively as a team player.

About This Role
  • This position is responsible for drafting petitions, motions, discovery, community property settlements, judgments, and all pleadings associated with family law matters.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including trial, if needed.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of legal experience, with family law experience preferred but not required. The ability to learn quickly is also essential. Strong writing skills and a passion for empowering clients with information to make knowledgeable decisions are key qualities we seek in an ideal candidate.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Licensed, active, and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar Association.
  • Experience with Dropbox, MS Office 365, and Clio, or ability to learn quickly.
  • Stellar writing skills – a writing sample will be required.
  • Able to attend in-person for Court and effectively litigate.
  • Relate to individuals from diverse cultural, educational, ethnic, generational, and socioeconomic backgrounds to build relationships.

  • 1200 Billable hours a year requirement.
  • Eligibility for generous quarterly bonuses after 3-6 months of employment (Attorneys are paid 25% of all collected billable work above a specified threshold each quarter).

This opportunity offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience.
