Electrical Sales Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the construction industry.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, developing relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and engineers in the construction industry.
  • Provide expert technical support and solutions for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth in construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and technical reviews to gather information and develop technical proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in construction electrical systems and products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in electrical sales, engineering, or a related field, with a focus on construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC) relevant to construction projects.
  • Excellent English communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with electrical design software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of industry-specific products and technologies (e.g., electrical panels, generators, lighting systems).
  • Experience with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
  • Certification in electrical engineering (e.g., PE) or construction industry certifications (e.g., OSHA).
