We are seeking an experienced Battery Energy Storage Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems and energy storage technologies, combined with hands-on experience in system commissioning and performance optimization.

Job Description:

The Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, deployment, and maintenance of battery storage systems integrated with renewable energy projects. This includes system sizing, selection of battery technologies, integration with inverters, and coordination with electrical and civil engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complete BESS solutions, including electrical single-line diagrams, control architecture, and protection schemes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate battery chemistries based on project requirements.
  • Perform system sizing and energy modeling to determine optimal capacity and configuration.
  • Coordinate integration of BESS with PV plants, gensets, grid, and hybrid energy management systems.
  • Review and ensure compliance with national and international standards.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in energy storage systems or power engineering.
  • Experience in renewable hybrid systems is preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of battery technologies, inverter systems, and EMS/BMS.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month and a mid-senior level employment opportunity in a full-time position.
