Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile engineer to design and implement scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement customer-to-supplier dispatching algorithms
  • Develop real-time order tracking functionality
  • Create APIs for 3rd party integrations and optimize their performance
  • Model and design databases to meet business requirements
  • Implement a safer and more flexible attribute management system
  • Enhance availability and assignment algorithms
  • Develop APIs first and conduct E2E API tests
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in Java and experience with MVC frameworks like Spring Boot
  • High comfort level with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB
  • Proficiency in working with ORM frameworks like Hibernate
  • Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis)
  • Solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services
  • Good grasp of the SOLID principles
  • Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills
  • Comfortable with Git version control system
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Willingness to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine)
  • Willingness to participate in our on-call rota
  • Experience in performing unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of backend services
