Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Research: Develop and teach courses related to geoinformatics engineering, ensuring students receive comprehensive knowledge and skills. Engage in research activities that advance the field and contribute to our reputation.
  • Academic Administration: Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and assessment. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall academic experience.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior faculty members and students, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's degree in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, Geological, Computer, or Software Engineering with relevance to Remote Sensing & GIS. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Publications and Experience: Must meet the Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria for faculty appointments, demonstrating a strong publication record and relevant industry experience.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are essential for effective teaching, research, and collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates must attach scanned copies of their academic and professional documents. The last degree must be attested by the relevant authorities.
  • Ineligible candidates include those with a 3rd Division in academics, less than one year of service, currently pursuing a degree, medically unfit, or serving in the government or armed forces without a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
