Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Chief Security Officer, Consultant Estate Management, or Motor Transport Officer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing security, estate, and transport operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chief Security Officer: Oversee and manage security operations, ensuring the safety and security of staff, students, and visitors. Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent potential threats.
  • Consultant Estate Management: Manage the estate offices of the University, overseeing the efficient use of resources. Ensure that estate affairs are managed effectively, and all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
  • Motor Transport Officer: Maintain, repair, and efficiently utilize the vehicle fleet of the University. Ensure fuel supply and documentation are up to date. The candidate should have experience in managing transport affairs in the Armed Forces or a reputable organization.
Requirements:
  • For Chief Security Officer: A minimum of 20 years' service in the Armed Forces, with a medical category A.
  • For Consultant Estate Management: A Master's degree in Public Administration, with at least 10 years' experience in managing estate affairs in a Higher Education Institution.
  • For Motor Transport Officer: Major (Retired) with a minimum of 7 years' experience in managing transport affairs in the Armed Forces, or Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO Retired) not below the rank of Subedar Major, or Master Degree or equivalent with 10 years' experience in managing transport affairs in a reputable Public or Private Sector Organization.
Benefits:
  • Negotiable salary commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
  • The contract would be for an initial period of one year, extendable for up to three years subject to good performance.
