About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional to join our team. As a BCM Management Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of business continuity processes that align with ISO 22301 standards and other relevant frameworks.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct business impact analysis to identify critical resources, maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective, and recovery point objective.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans, procedures, and documentation.
  • Regularly review and update continuity measures to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Establish and manage incident response, crisis management, and disaster recovery frameworks.
  • Coordinate regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans.
  • Analyze test results and incidents to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
  • Provide training to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and their roles in a disruption.
  • Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organization.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is up-to-date and accessible to key stakeholders.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 22301 standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to address and rectify non-conformities identified during audits.
  • Coordinate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional) is highly desirable.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex processes and projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business continuity.
