**Job Title:** Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial operations specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our financial performance.

  • Key Responsibilities: Lead and assist in core accounting functions, including billing, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory management, and revenue recognition.
  • Analyze and compile financial data to support audits, reviews, and tax preparations, ensuring accurate reporting in line with regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets, ensuring they are timely, complete, and reflective of the latest available data.
  • Post transactions, adjust account balances, and ensure accurate recording of financial activities.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights by responding to financial inquiries and summarizing, interpreting, and presenting financial data.
  • Document and refine business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics (Master's degree in Finance and/or MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a self-driven and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience with tools like QuickBooks and Gusto.
  • Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, or advanced data analytics.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards in a global environment.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and an understanding of the impact of cloud financial models.
