Scheduling Specialist

We are looking for a highly organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Specialist.

  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments using electronic medical records systems and scheduling software.
  • Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients scheduling appointments, responding to inquiries and providing information on appointment availability and clinic locations.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and patience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in using computer software and electronic medical records systems is essential.

This role requires multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to schedule appointments that accommodate patient needs and provider availability.

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient appointments, managing patient information, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Appointment Coordination: Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently, utilizing electronic medical records systems and scheduling software.
  2. Patient Information Management: Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  3. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries and providing information on appointment availability and clinic locations.
  4. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to schedule appointments that accommodate patient needs and provider availability.
