Global Trade Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Import Export Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the import and export process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in import/export and possess excellent communication skills. You should also have knowledge of computer systems and software, as well as a good understanding of the shipping and freight forwarding industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Updating shipment schedules, tracking containers, and updating ETA's
• Handling import data and record keeping
• Processing claims for import shipments and communicating with customers

In addition, you will be responsible for preparing documents for clearing agents and coordinating with them to ensure timely clearance of shipments.

You will also be required to handle container unloading, take pictures at the unloading site, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
