We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently while being part of a remote team.

About the Role

This is a volunteer position that requires 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. As a Social Media Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in helping us engage with our audience across multiple platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content to promote our programs and initiatives, and scheduling and posting content on various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Social Media Management:
    1. Developing and executing social media strategies aligned with our mission.
    2. Creating visually appealing content to promote our programs and events.
    3. Scheduling and posting content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.
    4. Maintaining consistent and positive messaging across all social media profiles.
    5. Designing and producing digital content such as graphics, photos, and videos.
  2. Community Engagement:
    1. Responding promptly and respectfully to comments, messages, and inquiries.
    2. Fostering discussions and building a sense of community among followers.
    3. Managing any issues or crises that may arise on our platforms.
  3. Analytics & Reporting:
    1. Tracking key metrics such as engagement, reach, and followers using analytics tools.
    2. Evaluating and adjusting our social media strategies based on data insights.
    3. Reporting social media performance to the team on a regular basis.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong understanding of major social media platforms.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Photoshop (a plus).
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields (preferred).
Time Commitment:

This is a remote and unpaid position requiring 15-20 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
