About the Job:

The Accounting Associate (US Tax) will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, preparing and filing US federal and state tax returns, and maintaining compliance with IRS regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation & Compliance – Prepare and file US federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring timely compliance with IRS deadlines.
  • Tax Research & Advisory – Stay up-to-date with US tax laws, assist with tax planning, and provide recommendations for compliance.
  • Bookkeeping & Record Maintenance – Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Bank Reconciliation – Reconcile bank statements and financial data while identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A 4-Year Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in US taxation (individual and/or business tax).
  • Prior knowledge/experience of QuickBooks.
  • A strong understanding of Debit/Credit principles.
