About the Role

In this strategic position, you will inspire and guide a skilled team to improve manufacturing operations. Your expertise will be pivotal in implementing capital investment plans, securing necessary resources, and delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

You will lead your team to meet project success criteria, adhering to timelines and budgets, and complete appraisals and close-out reports. Additionally, you will promote continuous improvement across systems, practices, and process deliveries, fostering a culture that values progress.

Key responsibilities include defining a forward-thinking capital investment plan, overseeing the capital investment process, aligning with site management, and providing a comprehensive view of investment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Define a forward-thinking capital investment plan aligning with a 5-year horizon of the large, dynamic site.
  • Oversee the capital investment process from initiation to fruition, ensuring project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets specifications.
  • Align with site management to provide a comprehensive view of investment plans, securing necessary resources for successful project completion.
  • Lead your team to meet project success criteria with strong adherence to timelines and budgets, and complete appraisals and close-out reports.
  • Promote continuous improvement across systems, practices, and process deliveries, encouraging a culture that values progress.
The Skills We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need proven leadership in projects and manufacturing within a similar environment, guiding teams with your management acumen. In-depth understanding of engineering, manufacturing processes, and project management methodologies is also crucial.

A strong commercial insight to discern business issues and identify opportunities, as well as proven capability in leading engineering and maintenance teams, fostering collaboration and innovation, are highly valued. Resilience under pressure and excellent communication skills, ensuring clarity and partnership across levels, are essential.
