A seasoned software professional develops server and client applications for various software platforms, crafting Restful APIs and front-end interfaces for web. As a principal software engineer, you ensure the functionality, security, and performance of the application meet design requirements and are completely bug-free.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers to achieve high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor team members through continuous training and guidance to improve their skills.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks accurately.
  • Write efficient code and unit tests to ensure reliability.
  • Collaborate with other team members to drive project success.
  • Tune your code for enhanced security and performance.
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software.
  • Provide status updates and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Research new technologies to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Upgrade your skills and knowledge to remain competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of related experience in the professional industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Javascript technologies.
  • Knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS, and NestJS frameworks.
  • Experience with writing backend components and Restful APIs.
  • Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with developing user interfaces using HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge of ReactJS, Redux, and Context for application development.
  • Understanding of security standards and compliances.
  • Ability to create database structures for required functionality.
  • Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring high test coverage.
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools like Github and JIRA.
  • Understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies.
  • Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
  • Strong presentation and leadership skills.
