As an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of employees, communities, and the environment. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute EHS programs that align with our company's vision and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with local regulations, industry standards, and global guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Continuously strive for improvement in all work processes.
  • Monitor environmental releases from the facility, adhering to applicable regulatory limits and relevant criteria. Compile and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct investigations into EHS adverse events, collaborating with departments to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide EHS training to staff based on their needs, equipping them with the knowledge to perform their roles safely.
  • Manage the Industrial Hygiene Program, serving as an expert in this field.
  • Ensure Machinery Safety compliance and promote ergonomics and human factors programs at the site.
  • Support the EHS Manager and Site in implementing safety initiatives, monitoring progress towards these goals.
  • Participate in meetings and forums, contributing insights on existing EHS issues and requirements to drive corporate goals.
  • Conduct internal EHS audits, developing CAPAs and revising SOPs, method statements, risk assessments, and other critical documents.
  • Collaborate with EHS to advance GSK Sustainability and biodiversity initiatives by monitoring waste, water, and energy programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences or certification in NEBOSH, IOSH.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in managing EHS in various domains related to Health and Safety.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with industry standards and codes related to occupational safety and design.
