We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in video production and possess excellent technical skills in operating cameras, drones, audio equipment, and studio lighting.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture and Editing

- Capture high-quality footage for various projects, ensuring excellent composition, lighting, and audio.

- Edit raw video footage using industry-standard software, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.

Vision and Collaboration

- Apply video editing techniques, including cutting, sequencing, transitions, color correction, and audio enhancements.

- Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements, timelines, and objectives.

Visual Storytelling

- Utilize graphic design and motion graphics skills to enhance video content as needed.

- Ensure that all videos meet technical specifications and quality standards for various platforms and formats.

Personal and Professional Development

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video production and editing to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

- Manage and organize video files, ensuring proper archiving and accessibility for future use.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills in video production, proficiency in video editing software applications, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in video production, including operating cameras, drones, audio equipment, and studio lighting.

- Proficiency in video editing software applications, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.

- Solid understanding of video editing techniques, such as cutting, sequencing, transitions, color correction, and audio enhancements.

- Strong technical skills in operating cameras, drones, audio devices, and studio lighting to capture high-quality footage.

- Knowledge of graphic design and motion graphics principles to enhance video content.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in video production and editing.

- Strong organizational skills to manage and archive video files effectively.

- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with creative teams and stakeholders.

- Creativity and the ability to develop visually compelling concepts and ideas for video projects.

- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in video production and editing.
