We are a digital marketplace for physical commodities, offering comprehensive services across the spectrum. Our finance team is growing rapidly, and we need a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to support our operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily accounting tasks with high precision
  • Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintaining up-to-date financial data in databases to ensure accuracy
  • Assisting in monthly closings and preparation of financial reports
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial and employee information
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless accounting processes
  • Supporting the finance team in audits and other accounting projects

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
