**Sr. Cloud Solutions Designer**

Responsibilities
  • Cloud Platforms:
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
    • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine.
    • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services offerings, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Architecture Design:
    • Ability to architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions integrations that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
    • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions to leverage the strengths of different cloud providers while ensuring interoperability and security.
  • EDM/Data Lakes and Data Warehouses:
    • In-depth understanding of data lake architecture principles and best practices, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
    • Hands-on experience with data warehouse design patterns and methodologies, such as star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault.
    • Experience with cloud-native data lake and warehouse services offered by Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.
  • Extract, Transform, Load (ETL):
    • Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into target systems.
    • Proficiency in ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
    • Ability to optimize ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability, leveraging parallel processing, caching, and incremental loading techniques.
  • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:
    • Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools for querying, visualization, and reporting, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
    • Ability to architect end-to-end analytics solutions that integrate data from multiple sources, perform advanced analytics, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements, define data models, and deliver data-driven solutions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or any relevant field from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years focused on cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services Infrastructure as a Service platforms.
  • Strong CPG Data & Analytics background, with experience working on complex data sets and data cubes, AI modeling and experience is a plus.
