The role of the Project Support Officer is pivotal in ensuring the seamless implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities. This involves providing coordination and technical assistance to support planning processes, partner engagement, knowledge management, and day-to-day operational coordination under the guidance of the supervisor.
- Support the development and execution of project work plans, ensuring timely follow-up on agreed actions and deliverables.
- Assist in coordinating with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to facilitate project planning, progress tracking, and information sharing.
- Contribute to the preparation of periodic progress reports, briefs, meeting notes, and other documentation as required.
- Assist in monitoring project indicators, collecting and compiling data, and supporting analysis for reporting and learning purposes.
- Support the organization of meetings, field visits, training sessions, and stakeholder consultations, including logistical and administrative arrangements.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of communication and knowledge products such as newsletters, success stories, and social media content.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for procurement, recruitment, and other operational processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems (physical and digital) to ensure all project records are accessible.
- Assist in tracking donor reporting timelines and compiling inputs for donor engagement and resource mobilization activities.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
