We are seeking a highly skilled Firewall & Network Security Expert to manage, secure, and optimize our network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in firewalls, network protocols, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise firewall systems (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.)
  • Monitor network traffic for potential threats and implement appropriate security measures.
  • Conduct regular firewall rule audits and updates to maintain optimal security posture.
  • Configure & Manage VPNs, site-to-site tunnels, and remote access configurations.
  • Troubleshoot network security incidents and respond to alerts.
  • Work closely with IT teams to design secure network architectures.
  • Implement and manage Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations and policies.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing remediation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (HTTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, DDoS protection, and other security appliances.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Fortinet NSE 4/7/8
  • Cisco CCNP Security / CCIE Security
  • CompTIA Security+ / Network+

This role requires a strong foundation in networking fundamentals, as well as advanced knowledge of security concepts and technologies.

As a Firewall & Network Security Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure network infrastructure that meets the needs of our organization.

You will work closely with our IT teams to ensure that our network is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
