Service Delivery Manager – Network & Security (Fortinet/FortiGate)

Experience Required: 15+ years (with 10+ years in Fortinet/FortiGate deployments)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Service Delivery Manager – Network & Security to oversee the successful delivery of advanced network and security services, with a strong emphasis on Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager). The ideal candidate will lead operations, manage client engagements, and ensure the smooth delivery of firewall, VPN, and secure access services across enterprise and multi-site environments.

Key Responsibilities Network & Security Service Delivery

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of network and security services, including design, deployment, and support of Fortinet security appliances.
  • Oversee deployment and administration of:
  • FortiGate firewalls
  • Lead configuration and optimization of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, static routes), VLANs, NAT, and policy-based routing.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of managed security services with a focus on SLAs, performance KPIs, and client satisfaction.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into secure network solutions.
  • Conduct regular service reviews, present technical reports, and advise clients on risk mitigation and network improvements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of incidents and project milestones.

Security Operations & Compliance

  • Manage daily operations including monitoring, incident handling, and change management.
  • Ensure firewall rule audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability management are conducted regularly.
  • Implement network segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and access control best practices.

Team Leadership & Technical Oversight

  • Lead a team of network and security engineers, ensuring skill development, task prioritization, and delivery excellence.
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for complex security incidents and outages.
  • Oversee documentation, SOPs, and technical runbooks related to Fortinet security infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Cybersecurity (Master's preferred)
  • Fortinet NSE 4 Certification (NSE 5–7 is a plus)
  • Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or CISSP are a strong advantage
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in network and security service delivery
  • Hands-on experience with FortiOS, firewall migration, HA setup, logging/reporting, and advanced threat protection
  • Experience with other security platforms: Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Sophos, etc.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
