Gas Network Strategist

The purpose of this position is to ensure safe, smooth, and uninterrupted supply of natural gas from respective sources to distribution networks by utilizing efficient operation and maintenance of transmission system and lines. The successful candidate will plan and design new transmission pipeline systems and distribution supply mains, while minimizing supply interruptions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the transmission network to ensure efficient operation and minimize supply interruptions.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs on OGRA technical matters relating to projects.
- Conduct transmission network simulation studies and analysis for existing and future infrastructure.
- Develop and implement gas network strategies and development in line with business requirements.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate with construction and operation departments.
- Prepare and implement revenue and capital budgets of the department.
- Ensure pipeline repairs and modifications plans are scheduled to maintain gas transmission to customers.
- Lead a team of engineers in various pipeline project activities.
Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering graduate with 16 years of education and 14 years of post-qualification experience.
- 4 years of experience in senior management/leadership roles preferably in Oil & Gas Sector.
- Age should not exceed 57 years.
