Medical Research Assistant Position

The Aga Khan University seeks a diligent Research Coordinator to support a study focused on understanding treatment adherence in HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis (TB) patients.
About the StudyThis research aims to identify patterns of treatment default, explore patient-related risk factors, and uncover barriers to adherence through patient interviews. The study will be conducted at a tertiary care center in Pakistan, in collaboration with the National TB Program.
Responsibilities- Recruit patients for the registry
- Collect data from patients via phone calls
- Enter data into an online portal
- Contribute to manuscript writing
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public administration, or a related field from a recognized university
- At least one year of relevant experience in clinical research projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong critical thinking abilities, organizational and management skills
- Demonstrated teamwork, maturity, and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking capabilities
