Sales and Logistics Expert Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to develop and execute business development strategies that drive growth in ocean freight logistics. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of trade lane specifics, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through exceptional customer service and timely complaint resolution.
  • Manage and retain a defined portfolio of customers, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve target budgets.
  • Negotiate contractual terms of service provision aligned with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations showcasing standardized products and services to potential customers.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute sales calls to enhance customer retention and acquire new business.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in field sales at freight forwarding companies.
  • Broad knowledge of trade lane specifics, ocean freight, and logistics business models.
  • Mastery of sales negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proven sales record and excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
