Job Description:

To provide support in implementing project activities in designated districts.

Background:

A research-based non-governmental advocacy organization committed to contributing to the well-being of society through establishing an institutionalized system of social development and responsible citizenship. The organization is a civil initiative aimed at stimulating public and policy dialogue on social development policies, legislative processes, democratization, rule of law, good governance, human rights, and civic action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts field assessments either independently or as part of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Responsible for mobilizing, engaging, and liaising with project partners, especially universities, government officials, media, and targeted community members for their support in implementing project activities.
  • Supports the project manager in developing a knowledge base and relevant content for arranging mobilization activities, capacity building, social media campaigns, and other related activities.
  • Ensures strong documentation and timely reporting of programs. Provides support in preparing reports, lessons learned documentation, stories of change, and other program-related documentation when required.
  • Collects, manages, and maintains program data in both soft and hard copies in a timely manner.
  • Built long-term relationships through networking and promoting project activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Supports the program team in organizing visits.
  • Provides support to the project team in achieving results of the project.
  • Cordinates the organization of meetings, workshops, conferences, trainings, and related activities relevant to the implementation of the Project.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in social sciences or any relevant field of education.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years' work experience in the development sector, especially in implementing projects on themes including rule of law, democratic just governance, gender-based violence, youth development, and citizens' engagement.
  • At least half of which should have been related to coordination, project management, community outreach, government liaison, and organizing events.
  • Active social media user, especially Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and vlogging on different social and political issues.
  • Understanding and skills around program management & reporting.
  • Proactive in communication & information sharing.
  • Working experience on migration issues and projects.

Languages: Excellent command of English and Urdu – verbal and written
