Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services to clients in various settings, including healthcare, legal, educational, and immigration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
  • Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaise between the service user and service provider
Requirements
  • Fluent in English or another language
  • BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
  • Any other interpreting related qualification
  • Must hold an IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
  • You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement
