We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a scalable and reliable platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about building infrastructure that supports businesses of all kinds. The ideal candidate will have experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available, scalable infrastructure on AWS while ensuring security best practices and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities include managing VPCs, load balancers, and implementing auto-scaling strategies using Docker and Docker Swarm for container orchestration, GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines, CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana for monitoring system performance, and logging solutions for establishing alerting thresholds.

Technical Requirements:

  • AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, and IAM.
  • Docker and Docker Swarm.
  • Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Node.js ecosystem and TypeScript applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Database administration and optimization.
  • WebSocket deployments and real-time application infrastructure.

Soft Skills:

  • Problem-solving abilities with incident response and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to system improvements and technical debt management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the foundation of a platform that will empower not just SaaS platforms but also millions of small businesses that need to operate like tech companies.
