Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our Shared Services Department. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Accounts Payable & General Ledger Function across multiple group companies.

Your primary objective will be to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, recording of accounts payable invoices and payments, compliance with financial regulations, monthly closing and bookkeeping, and seamless collaboration with remote country finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable & GL team members.
  • Process and review vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment requests.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment processing requests in coordination with Country Finance teams, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Analyse and reconcile Accounts Payable accounts, identifying discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and manage Accounts Payable & GL function metrics.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closings.
  • Maintain and review chart of accounts, ensuring proper account mapping and segmentation.
  • Arrange data for external audits, tax, and regulatory compliances on request from Country Finance teams.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/CA (Finalist) having articles from reputed audit firms.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable & GL management.
  • Experience with ERPs and advanced Excel skills.
