We're seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Backend Software Engineer. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using PHP (Laravel preferred). Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results is also a key responsibility.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable microservices for global platforms and ensure secure, maintainable code with documentation
  • Implement efficient software solutions using C++ extensions and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
  • Design and develop robust backend systems integrating artificial intelligence into our systems
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly and participate in code reviews upholding best practices to drive quality and efficiency
Requirements:
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in PHP backend development
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Laravel or similar frameworks, and RESTful APIs
  • Proven experience with C++ integration and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex and modern workflows such as Git, CI/CD
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working remotely or with international teams, with knowledge of frontend tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Background in ed-tech, health-tech, or social impact platforms
