We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in driving the framework for technology, tools, and automation initiatives for data validation across the data ecosystem.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have expertise in validating data quality, integrity, and consistency across different datasets. They will be proficient in SQL, with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and tools such as Apache Airflow and Talend.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience testing large-scale, production systems using Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Open Source Data Platform Validation Tools. They will also have experience working with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities
  • Data Validation and Testing: Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across different datasets.
  • SQL and Database Knowledge: Develop and maintain efficient SQL queries and databases.
  • Data Analysis and Design: Analyze systems and data to identify data quality gaps, detect anomalies, and provide solutions.
  • Engineering: Build systems and datasets to meet Data Quality objectives.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on software and quality engineering experience focused on Data Platform & Analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and Governance concepts.
  • Hands-on experience testing large-scale, production systems using Python, SQL, Apache Spark, and Open Source Data Platform Validation Tools.
  • Experience working with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
