We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Center Analyst to join our team. This pivotal role demands a deep understanding of security protocols, cloud technologies, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We will implement and monitor security alerts and events from various tools like SIEM, EDR, XDR.
  • The analyst will provide initial analysis and response to security incidents, including phishing attempts, malware infections, and network breaches.
  • Endpoint security monitoring is crucial, including management of core Windows processes, event logs, Sysmon, and endpoint detection tools.
  • Collection, analysis, and correlation of security data from tools like EDR, SIEM are essential for incident investigation and response.
  • Senior analysts will be assisted with incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • All activities, including incident tracking and report writing, must be documented accurately and timely.
  • Ongoing learning and staying up-to-date on emerging threats and security trends is vital.
  • Critical assets logs will be reviewed periodically to ensure security compliance.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Cyber Security is required.
  • 0-1 years of experience in IT Security is preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud-based IT infrastructure is necessary.
  • Good reporting, documentation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with basic IT security concepts is required.
  • Knowledge of Incident Management Processes is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Azure Cloud Defender, Manage Engine, or Cloudflare is desirable.
  • Familiarity with SIEM solutions, EDR, or XDR is required.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CC, or CompTIA Security+ are beneficial.
