Effective Social Media Strategist Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Social Media Specialist to effectively engage with targeted virtual communities and networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies through competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Develop, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to foster meaningful connections and encourage community members to take action.
  • Configure and optimize company pages across each platform to enhance visibility of the company's social content.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing relevant social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, then acting on the information.
  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media marketing or digital media specialist role.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and knowledge of social analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with web design, web development, CRO, and SEO principles.
  • Understanding of online marketing and major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Fluency in English.
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
  • Ability to create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
