Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of business planning processes across the organization, ensuring high-quality deliverables and providing insights for effective decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to the designed business planning process to provide management with transparency on forecasts, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
  • Participate in monthly business planning meetings to understand business opportunities and challenges, including key changes affecting profit and loss (volume, pricing, bad goods, etc.).
  • Execute financial analysis in coordination with supply chain, sales, technical, and human resources teams, using appropriate management tools (guidelines, calendar, RACI, task allocation).
  • Conduct scenario planning and analysis with business teams, providing timely visibility to support decision-making.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities and highlight value destroyers to maximize return on investment from major projects.
  • Drive the quarterly investment review process within the business unit, coordinate with brand and marketing teams, and ensure standard operating procedure compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze replacement cost runs, review with senior executives, and present to higher management, including action plan follow-up.

This is a full-time position based in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidate will have a CA, ACCA, ACMA, or MBA qualification with majors in finance and 2-5 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
