Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition department and contribute to the growth of our IT teams. This key role involves sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing: Identify and connect with top technical talent through niche platforms, such as Stack Overflow and Github
  • Screening: Analyze resumes and assess candidate qualifications to ensure they meet the requirements for technical roles
  • Pre-screening calls: Conduct thorough interviews to evaluate applicants' skills and experience
  • Candidate coordination: Work closely with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs, and coordinate the recruitment process from start to finish
  • Talent development: Craft personalized recruiting emails to engage passive candidates and promote current job openings
  • Onboarding: Ensure a seamless transition for new hires and provide ongoing support to ensure their success
  • Brand promotion: Foster a positive company reputation as an attractive place to work and grow your career
  • Job analysis: Conduct detailed analyses to document job duties and requirements, and stay up-to-date with new technological trends and products
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter or in a related field
  • Proven expertise in various interview formats, including phone, Skype, and structured interviews
  • Strong technical understanding to explain job requirements for technical roles
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume databases, preferably Workable
  • Advanced sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting and Boolean search
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of HR practices and labor legislation
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, IT, or a relevant field
