System Administrator Job

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our computer systems and networks.

  • Job Description:
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), directory services, and networking protocols. They will also monitor system performance, uptime, and resource usage, as well as communicate with clients and users to determine the nature of any problems encountered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server Management: Install, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
  • Directory Services & Networking: Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource usage. Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
  • Google Workspace Administration: Manage G Suite user accounts, groups, and organizational units. Enforce security policies (2FA, mobile management, etc.). Administer Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, and other core services.
  • Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) System Administration: Configure and manage VoIP systems (UCM, 3CX, Asterisk, FreePBX, etc.). Set up SIP extensions, IVRs, call routing, voicemail, and ring groups. Monitor call quality and troubleshoot issues.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure endpoint and server protection through antivirus and patching. Enforce least-privilege access policies. Perform regular backups for files, emails, and VoIP.
  • User Support (L2/L3): Respond to escalated tickets related to G Suite, VoIP, printers, and OS issues. Train users on secure system usage.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain system configuration, VoIP maps, and G Suite policies. Document incidents, changes, and maintenance. Provide weekly/monthly performance reports.
  • Automation (Optional): Use PowerShell, Bash, or APIs for automation, including user provisioning, backups, and system health checks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in system/network administration.
  • Skills: Hands-on expertise in Google Workspace and VoIP systems (UCM, 3CX, Asterisk, etc.). Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, AD, and networking protocols.
  • Certifications: Preferred certifications: Google Workspace Admin, MCSA/MCSE, CompTIA Network+, VoIP-related certifications (3CX, FreePBX).
