Accounting Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of the financial department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to process invoices in a timely manner and make payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to record financial transactions accurately and on time.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure company compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Prepare for internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and records.
  • Review and analyze company expenses to provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvement.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to management regarding the company's financial performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ICAEW, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on general accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Preferred: Experience from Big4 audit firms highly preferred.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
