Accounting Position Overview
  • Manage accounts payable operations to ensure timely and accurate payment processing, adhering to established company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately record and adjust company expenses in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized documentation and support records for accounts payable activities.
  • Reconcile and review accounts payable aging on a monthly basis, promptly addressing open invoices over a month old.
  • Prepare and submit sales tax returns and income tax statements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by senior personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, account reconciliation, and payment cycles.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
