We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and solutions to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting
    • Provide timely and effective assistance with hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Develop and implement coding solutions to automate processes, integrate systems, and enhance software applications.
  • System Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and software applications, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
    • Migrate and upgrade system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with emerging technologies.
  • System Monitoring and Analysis
    • Regularly monitor system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
    • Analyze system logs and metrics to detect potential issues before they impact business operations.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Base
    • Create and maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation and knowledge base articles to support IT teams and end-users.
    • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends
    • Stay current with emerging technologies, coding practices, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.
    • Prioritize continuous learning and professional development to stay ahead of industry requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address IT-related issues and support business initiatives.
    • Maintain open, effective communication with team members and end-users to ensure seamless issue resolution and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • IT Fundamentals
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of IT fundamentals, including hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.
    • Familiarize yourself with software development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and end-users.
    • Demonstrate empathy and patience when interacting with users, ensuring clear explanations and resolutions.
  • System Administration and Operating Systems
    • Gain experience with system administration tasks, including Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
    • Develop knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, MySQL), if applicable.
