Maintenance Management Job Description

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and replaced as needed to meet production requirements.

Key Tasks

  • Schedule hours for maintenance mechanics to maximize utilization of manpower, provide adequate production coverage, and avoid excessive overtime.
  • Review downtime logs and analyze activities associated with downtime to determine possible causes.
  • Review daily performance goals and adjust maintenance activities to meet or exceed standards.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained to a level that will allow production numbers required by the daily schedule.
  • C Coordinate all maintenance projects to ensure completion complies with goals and budgets.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical/electrical background with construction equipment.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Prior budgeting experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
