Job Opportunity:

The Country Communications role entails supporting country team management in developing communications and media materials, facilitating communication flows, and ensuring timely dissemination of information to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Implement communications and visibility plans for active grants.
  • Finalize written content for proposals and donor reports.
  • Compile content from various field teams and organize assets according to grant and date/location.
  • Maintain a shared calendar of donor communications deliverables accessible to program and communications colleagues.
  • Develop engaging communications and media materials, including stories, photos, videos, infographics, newsletters, brochures, and other products.
  • Promote public outreach and awareness initiatives through media relations and collaboration with field teams.
  • Monitor media trends and suggest opportunities by identifying suitable media outlets and pitching relevant stories.
  • Upload and store content on designated systems.
  • Design and execute social media strategies, posting and scheduling content, creating new material weekly.
  • Track social media trends, increasing engagement and traffic to the organization's social media pages.
  • Coordinate logistics operations with suppliers and vendors.
  • Organize events, workshops, meetings, promotional materials, and document activities and events.

This role demands excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in corporate communications, preferably within the humanitarian or development sector.
