Remote Azure SQL DBA Position

Crystal Systems empowers businesses through technology, and we're seeking a skilled database administrator with expertise in Azure SQL to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquaint As-Is SQL Server DB structure on premises
  • Design, implement, and maintain database systems on Azure SQL.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to optimize database queries.
  • Conduct regular database maintenance and updates.
  • Prepare documentation related to database procedures and processes.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in database administration, specifically with Azure SQL.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, T-SQL, and database design principles.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Fluent English required.
